As you can see the parking log was full almost as soon as we parked, beautiful Sunrise over Logan Pass

So learning from our mistake yesterday and not leaving early enough we left as soon as Floppy was done eating and had his short walk. We did get one of the last parking spots at Logan Pass so we could hike to the Hidden Lake overlook. We had wanted to hike all the way down to Hidden Lake but timing with Floppy didn't allow that but it was still a fantastic hike even if it was really windy and cold!

On our way to Hidden Lake.

ree

Loved the scenery it was stunning.

ree

Not Hidden Lake, but a pond type area on the way there.

ree

Great scenery and wildflowers on the way to Hidden Lake.

ree

Hidden Lake!! We did hike a little past the overlook it was amazing!

ree

This is the only animal we saw on our hike, the day before we hiked Hidden Lake there was a bear on the path and a few days later one on the board walk.

ree

Visitors Center after we finished the hike, still busy!

ree

Visitors center at Logan pass was mostly closed except for one small gift shop that was open.

ree

We stopped and took pictures of the tunnel on the way down and got lucky with no cars coming.

ree

Another view of the tunnel.

Our afternoon again was spent riding around the national park and some of the bike trails. It really was great that the campground was so close to the park it afforded us some great riding!

Middle Fork Flathead River

ree

About as much "off roading" as I wanted to do with my bike.

ree

Again we turned in early so we could get an early start the next day!
