Sunset at our new campground
After hitting it hard for 4 days (and driving 1800 miles in 3 days before that) we headed down to Kalispell from West Glacier for the long (Labor Day) weekend. We did this for a few reasons, first being I couldn't get a campsite at the West Glacier RV Park for the holiday weekend. It turned out to be a good move though, on Saturday morning when we were pulling out the line to get into Glacier was about 4 miles long and they weren't letting anyone else in the park for the day! Also it turns out taking a few days to restock on supplies and lay low was exactly what we needed!

We found a great hike not far from out campground it was beautiful and not crowded at all! Great scenery and a decent work out.

This campground also had a bike trail that ran next to it and while it wasn't as fun or exciting as being able to ride into the national park it was nice just to hop on and ride for a while.
We also had to hit the grocery store. By this time it had been over a week since we had been to a "big" grocery store, West Glacier had a "grocery store" but it wasn't much, more like a big convince store. So we stocked back up on essentials as we hadn't even had take out in over a week so we didn't have much left in supply. Overall it was nice to just chill out of a few days before we headed back.
